Outdoor Worship

Now that the nice springtime weather is upon us, USBC will start having Outdoor Services again.

From May 9 to June 20, all 11 a.m. worship services will be taking place outdoors; weather permitting.

This outdoor worship format will provide many in our church family an opportunity to worship with each another again and still practice “social distancing” in a safe and controlled manner.

Below is what to expect when you arrive for the 11 a.m. outdoor worship services to be held on

May 9th, May 16th, May 23rd, May 30th, and

June 6th, June 13th, June 20th.

· FIRST – Upon arriving at the church parking lot for 11 a.m. worship, park your car.
· SECOND – You have three (3) options to experience the worship hour.
1 - Stay in your car, or
2 -Bring chairs from home and sit outside your car while still observing “social distancing”, or
3 - Sit in one of the chairs provided by the church.
· THIRD – A designated person will approach your car as you enter the parking lot and will supply you with a bulletin/worship guide.
· FOURTH – The service will begin with music, a message, and then a closing prayer.
· FIFTH – You will be dismissed to leave.

When you arrive at the church parking lot, the Praise Team will be standing under the canopy that is connected to the main entrance of the church. Speakers will be placed in strategic areas around the church property so that you can hear. The church building will remain open at all times during the outdoor worship services so that one can use the restrooms, receive drinks/refreshments at the Coffee Shop, or just for fellowship time.

If it is raining on a particular Sunday, the service may have to be moved inside (see page Indoor Worship). However, if we can make it work outside, we will stay outside.
