March 2024

In March, I will be starting a new sermon series entitled, “The Last Week”. This 5-week sermon series will deal with Jesus’ last week on earth leading up to His resurrection. As Jesus was living out His last few days on earth, there were important lessons that He wanted to leave with us. This sermon series will remind us what Jesus focused on and what we should focus on.

March 3^rd
Sermon Title: “An Important Question”
Scripture: Matthew 22:34-40
Synopsis: Life itself generates a lot of questions. A major question is how we should treat others. Jesus made it very clear that our love for God and love for others should the greatest commandments to follow.

March 10^th
Sermon Title: “It’s About You”
Scripture: Matthew 25:35-40, 45
Synopsis: Our actions are an indicator of how much we care about others. Jesus tells us that when we help others in need, we are in essence helping Him. When we neglect to extend kindness and compassion to others, we are in essence neglecting Him.

March 17^th
Sermon Title: “The Gut-Wrenching Garden”
Scripture: Matthew 26:36-39
Synopsis: Jesus goes to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray before his crucifixion. His emotions are raw as He makes the gut-wrenching decision to die for the sins of the world.

March 24^th
Sermon Title: “The Faces in the Crowd”
Scripture: Matthew 21:8-11
Synopsis: As Jesus enters Jerusalem triumphantly, He sees the many faces in the crowd shouting His praises. These faces are not lost names in a sea of people. These are faces that Jesus desires to know intimately.

March 31^st
Sermon Title: “Behind the Rock”
Scripture: Matthew 28:1-6
Synopsis: There was a lot that unfolded behind the rock where Jesus laid. A miracle was taking place that changed the world forever. What took place behind that rock can change your life forever also.
