Sermon Title:
“Communion: Serious Business”
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 11:27-32
Synopsis: When we take of the Lord’s Supper, we often find solace as we reflect upon the great sacrifice that Christ made for us on the cross. However, if we partake of communion without the proper mindset, our whole life can be disrupted and judged by God. Communion is more than eating of the bread and drinking of the cup. It is getting right with God.

Sermon Title: “Accepting the Unacceptable”
Scripture: Romans 15:7
Synopsis: Everyone has a desire to be accepted, but not everyone is so accepting. The problem is that we place unrealistic expectations upon others that cannot be met. Therefore, we never extend the hand of acceptance that God has extended to us. Fortunately for us, God has a different standard of acceptance and it is God’s standard that we should extend to others.

Sermon Title: “Walking Away Sad”
Scripture: Matthew 19:16-22
Synopsis: There are many decisions that we make in life that can bring about heartache. These choices can have a devastating impact on our lives. In this message, we encounter a man who had to make a decision as to follow Jesus or walk away. His choice was to walk away, which brought him a great sadness.

Sermon Title: “Don’t Be Stingy”
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:6-8
Synopsis: In life, we often try to cut corners. Although this mindset may be prudent, it can also be detrimental when it comes to giving to God. God has challenged us to give generously in all aspects of life. Therefore, let’s not be stingy.

Sermon Title: “Mountain Climbing”
Scripture: Exodus 24:12-18
Synopsis: Many people climb mountains because it provides them with an experience that they can’t find anywhere else. In the Bible, there are several examples of people who climbed a mountain and encountered the very presence of God. Today, there are spiritual mountains that we need to climb so that we can have a mountain top experience with our Savior.
