Our Mission: Impacting the Kingdom of God one person at a time
![]() ![]() Sermons by Pastor Dennis Felder
Starting on May 1st, the church will be starting a new sermon series entitled, “Rooted”.
Rooted is a 4-week sermon series that will lead our church through the planting, growing, pruning, and harvesting that needs to take place in the Christian life.
May 1st Sermon Title: “Plant” Scripture: Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23 Synopsis: The seed of the gospel is available to all. It is sown generously no matter the heart condition of the individual. Its ability to take root and grow when planted is dependent on the condition of the “soil” of one’s heart. May 15th Sermon Title: “Grow” Scripture: 1 Corinthians 3:5-9 Synopsis: The growth of a Christian is complex and involves many change agents like God’s Word, fellowship with other believers, personal prayer and worship. These things are all very important, but they only serve to set up fertile soil in a Christian’s heart. May 22nd Sermon Title: “Prune” Scripture: John 15:1-5 Synopsis: A natural part of an organic relationship with God is the process of pruning. Just as a plant is healthier after pruning and has revitalized growth, so a Christian experiences growth when unhealthy areas of their lives are trimmed or thinned. May 29th Sermon Title: “Harvest” Scripture: Matthew 9:35-38 Synopsis: God, the master gardener, whose ultimate goal is to produce a great harvest in and through each and every person. There is a harvest of spiritual fruit that can be developed in the life of the believer. |
