In February, I will be starting a new sermon series entitled, “Love Reigns”. It WAS the love of God that brought Jesus to offer Himself as a sacrifice. It IS the love of God that continually offers us new life through Christ.

Feb. 2nd
Sermon Title: “The Power of Prayer”
Scripture: James 5:13-18
Synopsis: When one is unhappy; pray! When one is joyful; pray! When one is sick; pray! When one has sinned; pray! Why all the prayer? Because prayer has the power to turn one’s life around.

Feb. 9th
Sermon Title: “Love Reigns Over Our Past”
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:17-21
Synopsis: All of our past mistakes, sins, and miscues have been covered by the blood of Jesus. Our past no longer has the last word and final say over our lives. We have been given a fresh start.

Feb. 16th
Sermon Title: “Love Reigns Over Our Present”
Scripture: Romans 12:1-2
Synopsis: We are to be living sacrifices that no longer conform to the patterns of the world. The world around us is deceptive, selfish, angry, and foolish. These cannot be the patterns we live by today. Rather, we must renew the way we think, and in doing so, we will discover God’s will for us in the present.

Feb. 23rd
Sermon Title: “Love Reigns Over Our Future”
Scripture: Matthew 6:25-34
Synopsis: Too many people are consumed with worry and anxiety about what tomorrow might hold. This fear can be paralyzing. As Christians we believe that our loving heavenly Father is always looking out for us.
