In April, the messages will focus on how a Christian can have victory through Christ.

April 5th
Sermon Title: “Behind the Rock”
Scripture: Matthew 28:1-6
Synopsis: There was a lot that unfolded behind the rock where Jesus laid. A miracle was taking place that changed the world forever. What took place behind that rock can change your life forever also.

April 12th
Sermon Title: “Victory is Yours”
Scripture: Romans 8:37-39
Synopsis: Victory is not only in sight; it is achievable and sustainable. Christ wants us to live a victorious life. Therefore, He has given us everything that we need to live out this life. There’s no need to live a life of defeat because Christ gives us the victory.

April 19th
Sermon Title: “Why I’m So Happy”
Scripture: Psalm 34:4-6
Synopsis: Christians should be the happiest people on planet earth, but often this is not the case. We let the sin and the drudge of life steal our happiness that God wants us to experience. To help put a smile back on our face and in our heart, we need to remember what all the Lord has done for us.

April 26th
Sermon Title: “Accepting the Unacceptable”
Scripture: Romans 15:7
Synopsis: Everyone has a desire to be accepted, but not everyone is so accepting. The problem is that we place unrealistic expectations upon others that cannot be met. Therefore, we never extend the hand of acceptance that God has extended to us. Fortunately for us, God has a different standard of acceptance and it is God’s standard that we should extend to others.
