Starting on May 3rd, the church will be starting a sermon series entitled, “Anchor”. Anchor is a 4-week sermon series that will show through every trial, we can rest assured that Christ will not bend or break.
The focus of this sermon series is to connect us back to the true Anchor of our lives.
May 3rd
Sermon Title: “Anchored by Hope” Scripture: Hebrews 6:19; Matthew 14:25-31 Synopsis: As believers, we are encouraged to remain steadfast and committed in our faith through every trial and storm that life may bring. We are anchored by Jesus. He is our great hope, salvation, and savior. May 10th Sermon Title: “Ingredients of a Godly Mother” Scripture: Proverbs 31:26-31 Synopsis: To be godly mother or a godly woman, it takes the right ingredients. When a mother or a woman mixes these Biblical ingredients into her life, she will be honored and praised.
May 17th Sermon Title: “What Are You Holding Onto?” Scripture: Mark 10:17-23; Luke 15:11-20, Luke 18:18-30 Synopsis: There is only one firm and secure anchor in which we can put our hope. May 24th Sermon Title: “When the Storm Comes” Scripture: Matthew 7:24-27; Acts 27:1-44 thru Acts 28:1-10 Synopsis: The storms of life are coming, and when they do, only Jesus will prevail as the firm and secure anchor. May 31st Sermon Title: “Remain Anchored” Scripture: John 15:5-8; Psalm 23:1-3 Synopsis: We must learn to remain firm and steadfast in Jesus. Apart from Him, we have no hope.
